Ada Jobs Foundation Welcomes Amy Childers Elliott to Team
Elliott hired as Community Development Specialist
ADA, OKLAHOMA – Amy Childers Elliott is the new Community Development Specialist with the Ada Job Foundation (AJF). Elliott has spent her career working with local governments, non-profits, and communities to develop internal capacity and champion their internal vision, which are all beneficial in her new role.

As the Community Development Specialist, Elliott will focus on housing and neighborhood development for Ada. Elliott's extensive background in finance, grassroots initiatives, advocacy, housing development, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, grant writing, and compliance, along with proven expertise in working with local stakeholders to translate their ideas into actionable, funded projects, will all be utilized to improve the Ada area.

“I've been fortunate to be engaged with the Ada Jobs Foundation peripherally for many years and seen the innovative approach they're taking to community and economic development," said Amy Childers Elliott. “To now be directly involved is very exciting! I have a passion for helping Ada thrive as a community and see great things in our community's future.”

Amy received her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Amy is a passionate volunteer with community projects ranging from local music festivals to city planning and zoning. She is an adjunct professor at East Central University. Whenever Amy gets downtime, she can be found in New Orleans with her three incredible children.
